| 産地： | Ridgetail white prawns, living in the water within the depth of 1.5 ~ 15 meters, can be found in all coastal water areas in China, mainly in the Yellow Sea and the Bohai Sea. They can be captured between April and October every year and have been bred In the latest years also. Among all prawns ridgetail white prawns currently have the largest number and are most widely distributed , as well as one of the main bred species. |
| 特徴： | Ridgetail white prawn is a medium sized shrimp and may reach a total length of 5~9 cm. The rostrum is long and thin, with 6–9 teeth on the upper edge and 3-6 on the lower edge. The bottom is sharp and thin and looks like a sting. The body is transparent with small blue or red spots. The color of the back belly is darker. After death, the body is white. When cooked, the head is a little red and the body is white, that’s why it is also called “white prawn”. |
