産地: | Found near shore, including semi-enclosed sea areas, in mud to sandy mud bottom (Ref. 11230). Used in Chinese medicine (Ref. 12166). Northwestern Pacific: southern Japan, East China Sea, Hong Kong. The spawning season is from early May to July. |
特徴: | Description: Snout acute and slightly protruding; mouth large, slightly inferior; edge of snout divided into marginal lobes; a medial patch of small teeth in front of lower jaw, no canine. Caudal fin rhomboid; swim bladder is carrot-shaped. Body silvery, tinged with an orange or yellow hue; belly silvery orange; the scales on the upper lateral sides of the body dark brown forming definite oblique streaks over a large area. |
